read the instructions, and learn it. when something goes wrong your going to need to know whats going on, anyshop is going to charge you so much. the only thing i use a shop for is dyno tuning. if you take the time to understand it and teach yourself install its easy.. the plumbing is not to hard, running oil lines is not to bad, tapping the block is a pain. wireing is a pain but at least you know its dont right if its exact to the directions, whos to say the tech at the shops are n e better? ive found cases where guys at tuning shop didnt know alot and asked me some questions.
find smart ppl on the fourms and in person at meets and pick there brains, thats how i learned.

Never read this thread cuz I was planning on selling the G since i'm keeping it now I plan to go turbo in couple of years when I turn this car into a weekend/track car
Based on this thread u guys are saying a complete turbo + install is only around ~$3500?
I would assume after a good install and proper tuning it would be around $6-8000 for TT setup?

That would be awesome. I do have a 1J powered x81 Cresta to suffice my turbo needs for the time being, sucking my wallet dry as it goes haha. Gotta get a new turbo kit / clutch / coilovers for it soon or it wont be drivable much longer.

I can give you a thousand reasons why I won't do that. The biggest thing is if I sell my X, all that money goes to the bank. And if I did keep the money, 8 grand wouldnt get me much past a clutch, rear end, and engine management. Oh, and brakes. Sigh.
Scratch that. The biggest thing is a new shell doesnt cost 20 grand after I put the car into a wall.

Get a vortech superchager. Install it yourself :-) Easy as pie, just make sure you drop the front sway bar if you get the old style vortech.
Its all about torque on demand ;-)
All Fluids changed, two taps and a die, and Vortech install, = $3500
