Clay Bar
Wow!.....that is some sweet looking paint. The colour is so rich, beautiful.
And I see you have your G35Driver sticker as well. I have one too, but I got mine from a certain BlueNoser!

I'm going to detail mine in the next 3-4 weeks and try to give Shane a run for his money!
For those who have been talking about polish here, i saw at canadian tire they have the meguiars in 3 steps in the red bottle or the beige professional bottles with 3 steps with both being the same price. Does anyone know which would be the better choice for polishing my car
and i thought i spent a **** load of time cleaning my car... feeeling goood! .captain canuck, your G looks like a candy apple that I want to bite into!!! YUMMY!...
I'm gonna wait until the Detail how to meet before purchasing anything.. I have an IP with some golden flakes (seems like rust) around the infinti logo in the rear trunk.. (this is usually after a wash).... but i can't find rust anywhere and its new.. so i dunno what these small flakes are!! argggh.

As far as the golden flakes you are seeing on your IP G, a clay bar will probably remove them without issues.
I started claying my X yesterday and I was going to finish today then the rains came

LOL, I was just posting the same thing about the golden flakes Shane. I agree a clay bar should work on that. I used to get that once in a while with my Ivory Pearl Maxima and the clay bar cleaned it up perfectly.

.I did a customer's BMW last weekend and it was actually the first vehicle I've EVER had to use an entire clay bar on. It was brutal. This is a pic of just a 1' X 1' square done on a single panel. Crazy!

Good stuff Wayne. I just love claying my vehicle and seeing all of the surface contamination (that isn't visible to the eye) that comes off of it.

I've got another ride to do before that though.
