Thanks for this. Seeing as the distributor in Canada is in my home town, I stopped by and picked up some of their products to try. Going to do the van first, it needs it bad, the G is in decent shape but will be done soon.

No problem, man...tell ya what...order up a bottle of Menzerna SIP and a couple of Orange Lake pads, and we'll have a go at your coupe one Sat/Sun morning.

www.eshine.ca has Menz products. Let me know if you order something, I may piggyback on ya for some other products and save shipping (free on orders over $150).

Did you get the clay package or just a bar?

I recently picked up a clay bar from canadian tire, I opened it in the parking lot and noticed some bastard stole the clay bars from the box! So I went back in and got it exchanged hassle free.

The clay bar didnt work wonders for me It picked up a few debris but that was it, there was no noticeable difference

Our CT's either tape 'em up or keep 'em behind the counter for exactly that reason.

You won't notice a huge visual difference after claying, but run your hand over the paint inside a plastic grocery bag and feel how smoooooth. You still need to polish/wax/seal to make it look great.

The cleaner wax that comes in the Mother's Clay Kit is AMAZING!

When I detailed my car last fall, I used Menzerna IP to try to get rid of some swirls and scratches (mostly worked, but I think I need one-step more aggressive) then did the Mother's 3 Step with my Porter Cable. Results were decent, but I think I'd like to step up to more professional-grad products. But not until I run out of Mother's.
