Quote: red35 is coming from Stony Plain. Back on topic, that's the problem when a dealership has a good product and NO competition, they get extremely arrogant.
Well, I feel sorry for the young fellow who actually went for this deal. It's really a shame that they can get away with this kind of stuff. Oh well, buyer beware. I guess that's one of the good things about a forum like this... people can find out who's good and who's bad.

^^ i have had good experiences at Auto West. they replaced my tranny, clutch, driver seat track, fuel shutter valve, and BOTH valve covers under warranty - to name a few. they never hassled me about the warranty work, no questions asked!

I gotta say that Ericksen Infiniti did me well earlier this week. The are in their new location, still working out some kinks and bugs.......I called in the morning to see if I could sneak in for an oil change and I was told to come by just after lunch. 1.5 hours later I was down the road! Here is to hoping that Infiniti customers get treated properly now that they have their own building (and a really nice building it is!).

I went to Ericksen yesterday evening for their "Exclusive Invitation" Opening Event. The invitation said 9pm, so we arrived at about 9:05.

After wandering about for a few minutes when the receptionist waived us through, we found the place was almost empty, except the staff wandering about with a beer in their hands. We wandering into the area set up for the food, only then realizing that the wine glasses and food tables were being packed up! Yup, after driving across the city to get to this 'Exclusive' event, we missed it! We spoke with another couple there that was disappointed as well, stating they no longer take their M45 to Ericksen, instead getting any service done at Aero Car Parts, following Rick and having Tony doing the work. They felt that they had lost all confidence in Ericksen and are not impressed with the new owners either and this screw-up confirmed their impressions as they also arrived for the 9pm event.

As we were leaving, I asked the recptionist what happened and were only then told that there was a typo on the invitation and that the event took place from 7 to 9 PM! She stated that they had tried to call everyone to inform the invitees re the time change, but "some were missed". No apologies from any of the other staff, I feel strongly that the manager or at least a designate should have met 'late comers' and offered an apology at the door. To discover the way we did is inexcuseable.

Anyone else here have the same experience or actually go to the event?

i went to a launch event for the EX a while back. cirque du soleil was there, and the food and drink were awesome. nice perk.

My invitation also stated 9 pm. However, I got an email as well but it states 7-9 pm. They most certianly didn't try to call me. Mind you I was away but my wife would have gone had she known about it. The invitation in the mail came the day after the event.

Wow, that's brutal Gord. They should of at least had the courtesy to apologize for all of the late comers. Very inexcusable indeed.

^+1

They should have noticed the typo in plenty of time to notify all people.

I would have some kind of small gift for the "late" people as a pacifier.

Worst dealership in whole Canada
What kind of dealership that don't even provide emails to each department? I tried to reach the Service Manager there at Ericksen and no email was provided. I tried to call the service manager there twice and left 2 voice mails and still he hasn't called me back yet.
My car failed Oil Consumption test and the Service Manager said he'd submit the request for new engine replacement. It's been two weeks and haven't heard from him, so i called and no responds. I'll wait another week to see if he'll call, if not, i'll look for a lawyer to take this to court.

^ I'd keep calling daily for maybe another week, but that's about when I land in his office doorway for a personal visit.
