The Weather
I am not sure what the summer has been like so far in other parts of Canada, but here in the Maritimes it has really SUCKED!! The amount of rainy days we've had since the first of June has been absolutely ridiculous and easily one of the worst summers so far.
I just got back yesterday from a week long vacation in New Hampshire and the weather was no different/better down there either. A brutal winter followed by a crappy summer is a real downer. Hopefully it will turn around soon so we can salvage at least part of the summer.

Hmm this summer has been an odd one, Toronto has been pretty decent with the majority of days sunny and warm. But heading back up to North Bay the weather was just rediculous, it would rain then shine like ever half hour for the whole week that I was back up there and since all I have heard of is rain up there. I'm heading back up soon so i'm not happy about the unstable weather patterns that have been occurring there, but Toronto has been nice thankfully.

june was awesome in Vancity. 3-4 days of rain, the rest was great.
so far july has been even better, 2 days of rain last week which was a nice reprieve. 2 w/ends ago it was 30+, last saturday it was ~30. of course i picked that day to start painting the loft of my condo...

Sweet. I gave mine a full detail the day before I left for New Hampshire and it looks pretty good. I am home today and actually see some partly blue skies. I just might have to take it for a spin and take a few pics.

Shane,
I'm not sure if I'll have time to get down to your neck of the woods. We are heading over to Moncton( traveling from St. Nicolas, Que) to stay before going over to the island.
It will be a long day for us but it will give us some more time in PEI.
If we can manage some free time when we are going back, for sure a mini meet will be in the cards. I hope things will work out so that we can meet up for a quick chat.

If I have some free time I will give you a PM. Maybe we can meet up for a Timmies or a quick pint and a Ontario\Nova Scotia photo shoot.

It has been an unbearably long winter in Winnipeg and summer only started 2nd week of June really (we had no spring, it went straight from winter temperatures to a "summer"). It has been hovering around 4-5C at night and high teens or low twenties this summer (2 +30C days) and to say the least, it doesn't at all feel like we got a summer at all. Only positive thing I can say is I haven't noticed much mosquitos this year.
