He played for the 76/77 California Golden Seals on a line with Carol Vadnais and Paul Shmyr.

 

IIRC, if it was 76/77 then it would have been the Cleveland Barons; no?

 

^^ He was there (CGS) in 71/72 then went to the WHA after that for a few years then back to the NHL.
He also played with Gretzky on the 78/79 Oilers (WHA)
