For good seats - $1295/seat for a 10-game package, down to 320 for standing.

^ That could certainly get pricey if you want to take the fam along.

You gonna go for it, even though it's the Edmonton package?

I didn't get picked. It was nice of them to send me an email letting me know though.

I'll probably get some middle-priced tickets...just checking today if some other family members want to throw in since the purchasing window isn't until tomorrow.

I didn't get picked, they said if people pass up on packages I could get a 2nd chance i have a few friends that got picked for up to 6 packages so i am sure more will become available I can't see people take 6 packages with the cost of them. I am not sure, $2000-$2600 for the wife and I is pricy of course you could always sell some of the tickets in a year to recoup some cost I might just enjoy it from the comfort of my home like usual and not have to worry about driving to Edmonton or Calgary dealing with parking and having to stay sober. if Canada ends up in the gold metal game I will kick myself though Maybe get some standing room ones, they are affordable anyway.

Well, we picked up all 6 seats allowed for the 10 games: myself, Mrs Swivel, her brother and 3 of her brother's friends/coworkers. So I guess we're going, should be fun!

Another Team in Ottawa

There's another hockey team in Ottawa besides the Sens....

The "Ottawa Angry Beavers"

.....that's right, the Angry Beavers are a womens team.

Ottawa should have sent out the Beavers last night. Though the Flames did try to give up yet another lead!

Flames/Leafs tonight, looking forward to that!! Such a crapshoot, you never know what kind of game either team is going to bring...

I'm inclined to agree.
