^ my $0.02

I saw that. At first I was thinking OK good...a couple good scraps but then pure ridiculousness. I didn't like it.

Fighting has a place in the game but there wasn't one really good example in that game of why two guys should square off. I had a few bouts back in the 80's (had the busted nose to prove it, I lost that one) but it wasn't for nothing.
It sure did look like Jr B or C or even D. That's what is sad about it. When was the last time we watched an NFL, NBA or MLB game and said that looked like...(insert bush league negative comment here)?

It's another black eye for the League and PA and it's ****ty management. There no real deterrent to prevent this sort of thing. Fines and suspensions are typically a joke. What's $5-10k and 2-3 games off (I know some will get 10 this time) to a bunch of millionaires? They won't notice the money and the time off is a good way to recover and comeback healthier and stronger.

Thankfully this doesn't happen often but unfortunately, due to the media, it gets so blown out of proportion that it gives people the impression that Hockey games are always like this.

It's a tough sell when people have this opinion of the game, whether it be skewed or not.

The Leafs?
Is it a coincidence, that when they have a goalie who can consistently stop the puck and make a few really big saves every game, that they can actually win more than they lose?
I hope he can handle the pressure and the schedule at this level. It would be great to have a really good, young reliable goaltender...it's sure been a long time coming.
BTW - Kessel just scored on Miller...1-0 (3 goals in 2 games, slump over?)

Edit: OMG was that Joey Crabb or Mario. What a sweat friggin SH goal...what an effort!

Grabovski and Kessel had some amazing goals last night! I almost wore my Kessel jersey to my Psych exam today lol.

Another nice goal for Kessel tonight, and almost the empty netter! 6 points out of a spot but a lot of good teams to beat to get there.. I wonder who we'll get for Kaberle??

A first round pick would be nice...that's the rumour if they deal with the Bruins but I hear they have a couple more teams putting cards on the table now.
Did you see Crabb's goal?

Ya our old first rounder haha, I know Burke wants a playable forward to use now not in 3 years, so I expect that pick will be traded away too. Ya Crabb's goal was nice, I liked seeing Miller getting bowled over as well haha

OMG - another great goal by Kessel. If this keeps up it will be hard to dislike his play.
I'm glad he's finding his groove...to little to late for this season.
