I could care less who wins but I never understood the whole "keep the cup in Canada" mentality by a lot of people I hear. Especially when 75% of the Bruins roster is Canadian. If anything we would want to be pulling for Boston to show our dominance in the sport.

Either way it's still weird seeing hockey in June.

^never understand that one??? I've never heard a Canadian that said "about" sounding like that.

Now US accents......we could have a lot of fun with those.

Back on topic.....yeah, great game. Tighter than I thought it would be.

Good for the Canucks...they squeeked out a couple of home ice wins. Let's see how it goes down in Bean Town.
A couple pretty exiting games to start.

Horton got hammered, a little late but keep your head up and your stick on your stick on the ice. Hopefully he is ok.

Horton's head was up (albeit looking the opposite way) and it was an unnecessary blind side hit. Rome will be suspended later today.

Rant - I'm sick of seeing this lack of respect. The biggest problem I have is the trickle down effect and how much of it is replicated in minor hockey.
I coach rep kids from M Atom to M Bantam and we see it in all ages. The BS after every whistle is mimicked by the kids too.
The NHL looked completely bush league (from top to bottom) last night.
I watched a 67 Leafs Blackhawks game last weekend. Absolutely no BS in a Stanley Cup semi-final.
I'm really just sick and tired of seeing the kids copy their hockey idols.

As far as the score last night; well you only need to win by one but the look on the faces of the Nucks fans was priceless.
Game 3 will be right back on track and both teams will battle hard. It should be a close one.

It's really sad to see this in the today's game.

It looks like Boston has the nucks figured out, things don't look good for them

They sure have, for the last two games.
It will be interesting to see how much home ice changes things tonight.

Two of the biggest advantages home ice rules give you are last change and opponent stick down on face-offs.
With last change, I don't think the Canucks can match-up physically no matter what they try. Skill wise they should come out a little ahead.
The face-off is probably moot since they still won most of them in Boston too.

I know the Canucks lead the league in 'regular season' hits but they didn't play the Bruins 82 times and this is the play-offs. regular season means nothing when it comes to that stat.

Thomas is outperforming Lou...no surprise to me.
The Canucks top players are being shut down but the match-ups on home ice should change this for the Canucks. If it doesn't then they are finished by game 6.

I seem to be bad luck, the two games I watched they lost the games I miss they win. I listened to the 3rd period on the radio anyway. How was the game? On the radio it sounded like the canuks out played them in the third?

Well then, I will be counting on YOU to watch game 6

It was a good game. It started out very fast past in the first. To many bad calls by the refs and I admit they where against the Canucks. I wish the refs would let'm play.
I don't think either team really outplayed the other.
The Canucks may just thank their lucky stars they earned home ice advantage for this final unless they can solve the Bruins...in Boston.

I'm just thankful its 6 or 7 games. Some people don't appreciate hockey in June but for me I start going through withdrawal symptoms until the next season begins. NHL and NFL are the only pro sports I watch. Thers not much else to own a TV for.
