Man we have a tough road to the playoffs, gotta beat some good teams but a W against the Avs last night is a good start.

You mean hockey isn't finished yet????

I don't know about you, but I find it hard to muster much enthusiasm after the Olympics.

True enough. But while we still have a sniff of the playoffs, I keep watching. I'm actually watching your blueshirts against the Devils right now.

+1

It would be interesting to see some stats on viewership now compared to norms.

The leafs won again. If the seasons consisted of the last 20 games the Leafs could have won the last 10 Stanley Cups, lol

So how about the suspensions (and lack there of). Wisniewski gets 8 (rightly so IMO) and some hockey commentators/writers are saying that he got 8 because he's a repeater. In the same breath they say Cooke didn't get anything and Ovy got what he deserved too. The last I heard/saw those, and quite a few other, guys are guilty of multiple 'dirty' hits of one type or another. Please define repeat offender.
What do you guys think?

I think it depends on what side of the bed Colin gets out of on that day.
There certainly doesn't seem to be much consistency.

A little help here? First the Oilers threaten to beat the Dead Things, then lose in the last 0.2 second, then the Canuckleheads fold like a house of cards and lose in the last second of OT. C'mon, fellas, WE would help YOU out (yeah, right!!)

As much as I would hate to not win our little bet,
it would be awesome to see the Wings on the outside looking in.

Definately dislike the Wings, but love seeing Kesler lose. +1 for Detroit!

Or maybe you have a secret desire to sport an avatar featuring the Flaming C emblazoned -- Trans-Am-Screaming-Chicken-Style -- across the hood of your new white Spielzeug...

I won't start work on it just yet. Today's L to Minnie does not bode well.
