So, is there still a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel for the Flames?
The Avs sure are tanking at the right time (for the Flames).

Indeed...I hope they are not just teasing me. We play the Avs tonight and a win would put us even on points for the final playoff spot. Flames need to come out hard and fast, take the heart out of the tumbling Avalanche.

It should be a great game.
It could be the season for either team.

Yep, they finally put me out of their misery. The way they've played since Christmas, this was not a team that was going to have success in the playoffs, anyway. The most disturbing thing, though, is talk in the papers already this morning that Iginla should/might move during the off-season. That would be tragic.

Guess I'm cheering for the Caps and the Sen's for the remainder.... Iggy better stay put. The press needs to get off his freaking back.

Oh really...I can! (imagine)

Sorry Swivel. They were dumb enough to dump Dion (IMO) so maybe, just maybe....
Honestly though, it SHOULD be a cold day in H.E. double hockey sticks before they let Iggy go anywhere.

Well, Ian, I guess our little bet is a push. Too bad, I was really looking forward to sporting those lovely avis you made me (and don't get any idears). I suppose I'll watch the final game tonight versus the 'Nucks. It's be sweet to end off by giving those guys a beating, but I doubt that will happen.

Back to the ORIGINAL topic, LOL, how has old Frankenstein worked out for all y'all? I haven't really watched any Leafs games since the trade. I'm very happy with White and Stajan (a little snakebit, but I think he can still be a decent setup guy for Iggy), Mayers hasn't even been bad at times and is not afraid to mix it up out there. Despite not making the playoffs, I don't regret our end of the deal for a nanosecond.
