A lawyer called him, and he rightfully gave in...otherwise he would be facing a defamation suit worth "millions".

Point made...

Its a public forum. If the experiences are true its not defamation. Screw that shows the character of this dealership.

I read his statement before gee35fx took the quote down, it was very personal and I could see why they wanted it down it painted the management by name as racists, verbally abusive, drunk con artists but is good to know they read this threads about how much they suck. Markham Infiniti might not think the Internet reviews on their poor service effects them but unfortunately it does. Most people do online research before buying anything so I am sure they find all of threads on them. If you google markham Infiniti it says in big letters on the first page MARKHAM INFINITI SUCKS and has all the links to driver....it is like free advertising

Completely agree. I've also read too many negative stories on here over the years about Markham. From what I've read over the years here there is no way I'd take my car to them if I lived in the GTA.

IMHO, this just brings more negative attention to them.

Don't.... it was just a pretty harsh review. If he and the mods want it deleted then just let it be

I agree, that is why I removed his quote in my post. It sounds like he was getting the screws tightened on him, I figure that's why he removed his original and put in a apology.

^good plan.

Brotherly G luv on the forum!

I must say that's one of the most incredible apologies I've ever read. Must have been some big heat from MI. Having been in the media business for a lot of years I've seen plenty of them but nothing like that.

I wanted to give my honest opinion about the retraction in as appropriate a way I can think of.

1) Believe me when I say that I think all the words in the original post were false and that the gentlemen who run that dealership are all honest and upstanding businessmen.
2) Ultimately, it is disrespectful, libelous sacrilege like this that casts a dark shadow on the entrepeneurial spirit that would otherwise flourish in Canada
3) Let me assure you that there is nothing wrong with investing in legal services to protect an otherwise upstanding name.
4) Like it or not, unjustifiably harsh words were used and the issuer of the original statement was clearly WAY out of line in his outburts- as he so clearly indicates

5) Since we do not know the whole story, we must assume that the honest business folks at "said" dealership do have the customers' best interest in mind and we should rest assured that their integrity is beyond reproach.
6) Honestly, I was offended that someone would take such a tone towards this respecful business group.
7) In my humble opinion, I would be happy to bring any vehicle to these fine folks
8) Take it from me, gentlemen... the truth is in here somewhere- you just need to know where to look for it!!

Can anyone solve the puzzle?

Yeah this dealership sucks and doesnt deserve G35 drivers business and deserves to be put on blast im glad that you google markam and this is the thread that shows up. Holding a business accountable for their actions and practices is a consumers right. Noone says you must use them and its your freedom of choice to pick where you will spend your hard earned money.

Even if the guy talked out of context theres truth behind any rumor or story. You dont just make those kinds of things up. I wish markham would respond by now, but i guess you cant fight except in the background by bullying people.
