I Hate the COLD !!!!!
I have two issues 05 G35 coupe that only happen in cold temperatures.(-1 and below) So I always keep my g35 coupe parked in the garage but had to go out for a couple hours tonight I let it warm up for a good 5 mins. First issue, the car was parked outside for 4 hours temperature was around -12, I sit in my car close my door and turn the car on. To my surprise when closing the car the door is ajar and the lights on the dash indicate the door is not closed. I try opening and closing lightly then with a little more force no avail, I manage to drive home(2mins away) with the door still ajar rattling away and park in the garage when I get out the of the car and close the door its shuts fine?? I hop back in the car to make sure I'm not going crazy but still to no avail its stays ajar.
Second thing I notice with the car also only when its -1 or more is a strange whistling sound coming form the engine bay, no its not the breaks nor bearing definitely comes from engine when i press the clutch in it still remains. It doesn't really matter the speed or which gear whenever its cold the sound remains. I did some reading on the forums only thing I found was a guy who had his tranny replaced.. here's the https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...mpartment.html
Idea's and expertise are greatly appreciated thanks

The door issue is moisture building up in the door and then freezing. When you open the door it brakes the seal and gets stuck. So once you've driven the car a bit and had the heat on the liquids thaws out and evaporates, which is why you can then shut the door normally.
The whistling sound could be a number of things, but sorry I don't really have any help for that.

dont worry about either. that's what happens when u drive a 6mt in the winter
transmission whine happens to every 6mt for the first 1-2km when it's cold until ur transmission is warmed up
