Well, finally replaced the G...
After almost two years this and that, not driving, tried living downtown and using transit, and walking to work, Ive finally replaced the G. I was all over the map on this one, first looking at the G37, 135i, then the X1 and some other vehicles. Settled on the 11 WRX - wide body, 265hp awd, tons of standard features. In my opinion best value for the dollar... EXCEPT... you cant get them. I looked and looked but nothing except some whites and rally blues, and not even the packages I wanted. Every dealership gave me the same run around about production shortages in Japan due to the earthquake and they cant get me the car I want, nor give me a deal on the STi's covering the lots since they wont get any more this summer and will sell them all for full price.
SO, The search continued. Friday, I ordered a VW Tiguan. Never ever thought Id every buy a german suv, but it comes in a 6 speed manual, even more features than the Subaru, and will be more practical in the future for my travels.
Hardest thing i realized buying a G at 21, is that every car I buy after can never compare. But at least this one is more practical, better on fuel, and I wont need to get towed in the snow! Needed one vehicle for all year round.
Fits nicely where the G used to sit. From Japanese to German... who would've thought?!

Congrats on the Tig Shawn, they are a very nice unit. I test drove one with a friend recently and that little turbo was nice and you could get it optioned out very well.
and I agree with Swvellips, I can't stand the Venza, although many people do like them since you see them all over the place.

Congrats on the new car. I always wondered how hard it would be for you guys to give up the G and get another car as I have friends who have Gs and absolutely love it and don't want anything else as it cannot compare
One of my coworkers has a Venza and I really don't like it in my honest opinion

When I test drove the G37 it was a completely different feel than the 35, didnt feel as sporty and fun to drive, was all about luxury and more tech than i could imagine. The 35 is a one of a kind car thats forsure.
