Good Infiniti mechanic in the GTA area to fix 03 radio/climate control issue

Hi all, been having issues with my radio and climate control system on my 2003 G coupe and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic to get this fixed in the Toronto/GTA area. Preferably close to Yorkdale Mall would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!

It is not worth fixing the headunit. Someone will charge you about $400-$500 to fix that unit, it is better to find one used or buy something aftermarket.

I drive a Z so I'm not sure what those issues are.....But a lot of the Z and G guys use Sasha from SG-Motorsport. He's probably the best mechanic out there for our cars

^ Are you getting paid to rep Sasha LOL, damn every thread you bump his shop.

There is a headunit problem on the G35's were it causes the temperature controls to malfunction.

As someone who has experienced this issue I have to agree, replacing the HU/AC controls with aftermarket is your best bet.

Pick up a double din and a JDM DD Finisher and you won't see this issue again. Like Hossmaxima said, the cost will be high to fix the HU and even if fixed the issue could come up again.

You will only have the same thing happen if you find a used one. Been there.

+2 Mine started acting up as well, do a search, lots of info on the topic, heck there's an ebay listing for you to send in your HU and get it repaired. As well because we're 03, you can't just put in any HU, has to specific model 03 a or b or c or something like that.

If you're planning to keep the car, get JDM DD and aftermarket HU, I got the Kenwood 8120, couldn't be happier, have rear camera, bluetooth, ipod connection and navigation, bunch of other stuff i dont use as well, sirius radio, dvd player, etc..... looks very stock as well, every1 new that comes into my car assumes its stock...

APH is very near Yorkdale, I don't know if they do HU installs, they did all my other aftermarket stuff (coils, camber, oil, spark plugs) even window motor replacement.

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I will go aftermarket. netcbc - where did you get your Kenwood 8120 installed and how much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking?
