Yeah, you guys are lucky out there. You wouldn't even need snow tires would you?

Hi Guys, Do anyone of you know a good reliable company in Ottawa region that offer car storage services?

BTW what is benefit of packing our car in the heated facility then the non-heated garage during the winter months?

i'm storing mine for the winter, mostly because i didn't want to spend the money on new rims and tires that were going to cost as much as a winter car, plus i knew if i had the g in the winter i'd just be out doing donuts all the time. so i got a junky 1990 sentra coupe. not quite the same as a g coupe, but i'll have a whole new appreciation for the G in the spring! plus i've accumulated a room full of new parts to put on in the spring from the money i've saved on gas and insurance (just have fire/theft/vandalism while its in storage, and minimum on the sentra)...silviaparts gialla grill, unlimited tuning carbon fiber filter/z-tube, clear corners, skyline badges...

Black looks really nice on the G.....when its clean
i assume you've seen mine this summer then canuck? so hard to keep her clean, but it's neat to see the way the air AND the dirt flows over the car

Hey there G35Mon,
Being here in Dartmouth I can't help you with the storage issue. a major reason for storing in a heated space is there is a consistant temperature so no freeze/thaw which puts condensation in everything- gas tank, engine bay, exhaust, all metal parts and speeds up the rust process.

Hey Canuck,

I hear you on the hockey part. I haven't followed NHL for years now but that Junior stuff was great hockey. I saw some games when they were here in Halifax in'03.

I guess you found one more herring choker around you!!

Take care.

located in the same town as you canuck

bought the car last spring at o'regans, 1 years lease back. black coupe, 6mt, brembos, etc. willow interior (the graphite interior made me kind of claustraphobic!).

i've been on the site for a while now, mostly lurking with nothing to say. didn't think there was anybody else from atlantic canada on here.

It is heated and would be a terrific place to keep your G out of the weather. Of course this would only help you if you are in the GTA. This goes for anyone else interested. Rates per month are very reasonable and I dare you to find a better price anywhere in the GTA. I have space and want to fill it up

Good Luck,

How much are you charging per month? I'm looking for a place to store my Miata.

My Grand Cherokee just doesn't cut it although it sure was great with the winter we had last year.
Post your winter routine.
When I first leased my G35c, & Im sure this applies to most..we couldn't even imagine driving the car in the Winter. However this soon did not apply and I continue to drive the car all year round. Hey what the heck, its a G35c not a true sports performance vehicle like a Porsche, Ferrari avg. over $100,000 +. Once a week I will have my car "washed" at various Esso Touchless Car Wash stations..it cleans it..and I continue to ride..man oh man..its been quite the winter, especially these last couple weeks! So Friggin' cold!

I hear you G35Coupe. I've had a second vehicle for nearly 23 years of the 30(even when I was 17 years old) I've been driving so it's something I'm used to and it's hard to go down or go back! It's not so much the value of the car to me (I bought mine)- although 50k isn't cheap as it is keeping something special and getting a premium for that in another 7-8 years I plan to own it.
As well our winters here are extra hard on vehicles with a lot of freeze thaw and road salt and our geography makes for some hills the G or many rear drive cars are hard pressed to negotiate, especially close to home-possibly even my driveway. I've also trailered my snowmobiles for a number of years behind my jeep so it has other uses both summer and winter!
