Rust Removal Recommendation in GTA

Looking for somebody to paint my mudguards, front bumper and drivers side rear 1/4 panel + removing some light rust in the wheel well.

Any recommendations?

My main concern is rust removal since I did see a lot of paint shop recommendations but not too many reviews on shops that do rust work.

I did come across a lot of those threads. My main concern is the rust removal. I need a shop that can do more than just a good job painting. Should've been a bit more specific. Edited main thread. It's easy to find good paint shops but good shops for rust work is a lot harder. Even across other boards I only see very few actual reviews.

Thanks

Any other recommendations?

Mostly concerned with shops that do quality rust work since I already have quotes from some of the better paint shops.

It looks like crap but the metal is still relatively strong. It's starting to form in between the two pieces of sheet metal in the drivers side rear wheel well.

Pastaman! It's Vijay (prince_starbai) from tmec.

why don't you take it by Nick's (TLMNick on tmec) bodyshop? His body guy does excellent work and his prices are fair too. He's in Pickering. Send him a PM and drop it by.

Dude it's been a while! I'll be sure to send him a PM. I had no idea he had a shop.

Guess things have evolved in the past what 6-7 years since I regularly visited that forum? Still holding onto the old 97' Max here too. My car must be considered vintage by now . Truth be told, if it wasn't for the rust, I think that car would easily outlast my G sadly despite the 6 year head start.

Yes it has been awhile! Lol yeah things have but you haven't missed much. I got rid of my blue 4th gen but still have my black 4th gen which I use for a winter beater. It's starting to rust in the rear quarter panels though.

I don't have rust problems with my G but I did have an Oil burning problem (had to replace the engine). Hopefully this new engine doesn't burn oil lol.

You coming out to the Ertefa meet tonight?

Nah, i'll come out once i'm done with the car though. It's tough making it out to things during the week. I've been doing a lot of OEM replacement/maintenence stuff lately - this car just looks fantastic stock. If my wheels weren't curbed, i'd probably have just slapped on clears and mudguards and be done with the appearance mods.

How bad was your oil burning issue? Mine burns as well but I'm not going to replace the engine since I drive so little.

Yeah I hear you.. I kept the OEM look on my coupe as well.

It was burning about a quart every 2 gas fillups (~every 900-1200km) give or take. It was pretty bad.

Hopefully I'll see you around soon bro!

I have 3-4 good ones that require pics for a quote which I hope to get around to this weekend.

If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to post.
