Michelin Brake Dust Repellent
Ya, I was in the right lane and was being passed pretty regularly, I just got unlucky and was the only car for a km or so when he got me. Oh well, when I moved back to Ontario from CA I know this was one of the cons - cops here are way more diligent about speeding and way less likely to give you a break when they pull you over.
But at least I have shiny rims!
Edit - here is a pic of the rims after the first leg of the trip (~600km). There is still some dust but those of you with 03/04 sedans know this is nothing compared to what we would normally see after 600km. You can see my finger mark where I wiped some off. I usually see about that much dust after a short trip around the corner, so I'm a convert.

Picus112,
Was the majority of the driving that you did on your trip on the highway?
My driving is about 40% city and 60% highway in a typical week. The pic you show would be about a day of city driving for me( starting from a clean rim).
Thanks for the info!!!

Picus, that brake dust is not much at all for 600kms. I have been putting the Michelan repellent on about once a week or so and it has been holding up pretty darn good. Your wheels without the repellent after 600kms would of been black!

LOL, I remember my Sedan and more recently my Coupe for brake dust, and as you say, that's nothing for 600 km. I'd get that in a day like Bill does.
One up for the Brake dust Repellent.
Good stuff for sure.

Bill - that was 90% highway, so the brake dust had that in it's favor - still, knowing these cars like we do it's pretty clear that whatever that repellent does it works at least to some extent. I just wish I'd remembered to not coat the other front rim so I could have compared.
