One of the reasons power is rated higher.
Adding the spacer to 6MT is counter productive.

As far as I know, I am the only plenum mod manufacturer to publicly go on record to report that plenum mods don't work on the 05 6MT's.
I don't believe any of the other manufacturers made a similar announcement. If anyone can find another manufacturers public announcement posted anywhere please let me know.

I bought one from you a couple of months ago, and could swear there was a noticeable difference. I hope it's not just in my head.

I believe that Tony is a trustworthy man.....
Secondly, to Chico's question.. Yes, it works for a 05 5AT, since
it is NOT a rev-up engine like the one of 05 6MT.
Sigh, i now dunno where to go for servicing my car.. I can't
even do a simple oil change myself lol ! How sad ... and i am in
engineering too lol....

Its just the new "revup" engine that it doesn't work on.

In other words, what makes the '05 M/T a "revup" engine? It's obviously different than the A/T engine, and has something to do with the plenum.
Does it rev higher or quicker or what, with the different plenum?
It seems the M/T has the higher hp (298) engine, over the A/T (280) engine.
I was just wondering.....it's not important.

The 05 6mt has a few different goodies in it that the standard 05 doesn't.
It has a higher redline, Variable cam timing with a changed plenum.
Some of the internals have been beefed up. Peak HP comes in at 6400 rpms.
It did loose some low end torque and power. The term "rev up" Because it needs to rev up to make power.
