The G goes in the spring....My dream car may be mine in 2 weeks...
Hey guys,
As I had mentioned earlier I decided to sell my G. She is in storage now until I sell in the spring. I love the G and it will be missed most definitely.
However I did come across a very interesting E34 M5 (92) that a friend of mine is selling, it just happens to be my dream car! The car is officially sold to me and I will know in a few weeks if all the details work out, as this is not a normal M5. The motor was fully rebuilt and blueprinted, about $10,000 + was dropped into the motor + short shift, kevlar clutch, suspension, sparco seats, HIDS etc etc.. Plus she is a very rare blue (cant remember the name) The beast pushes almost 400hp and I have been told the top speed reached was over 280kms. So we shall see! I just thought I would share it with you guys as its pretty damn exciting for me! Here are some pics, I will keep you updated.

Nice car
Have always loved the M5s - particularly the new one. I think the colour code for that particular special order paint is AVUS BLUE. Very rare and very popular. I'm a big fan of deep blue shades and no one IMO does it like BMW does. Though I still scratch my head when I look at Laguna Seca blue (that really light light blue shade?) on the M3s.
Either way, congrats on the new acquisition - I hope to join your ranks some day - though i'd doubt the ranks of Bimmer faithful have such a great forum as ours to bond and chat with ...
Al
Here's MY dream car btw - AC Schnitzer meets the new BMW M6? Uh, Hello??? This baby got unveiled at the last SEMA show - her name is 'Tension'

Thanks guys..I will let you know more as the date approaches. I will definitely be out to BMW events and would also come to G meets for sure! Mosport is a no as I cant afford to crash this car.. so.. when I have enough for a track car, yes..but not with her!
Love the 6.. just the normal 645 is nuts! So damn fast. I got it up to 200 on the highway, it felt like 120 you know
Thanks guys..
Mike

I don't see alot of clean looking M5's in that generation -- that one is obviously well kept.
One of my dream cars is the next generation of the M5.
I see waaaaaay too many M3's here on the west coast... largely driven by inexperienced punks -- My friend in the insurance industry (ICBC) claims that it is high on the crash list of high end autos (>$60K).
Good luck with your future wheels !!
