Unhappy Big rock hit my G35

I'm sure you all have heard similar stories before but here's mine...

Heading home tonight on the freeway and suddenly there is a large rock, egg sized, bouncing towards me. Could I slow down or get out of the way? Nope. About 5 seconds earlier some idiot changed lanes and was tailgating me. Bang! Wham! Rock goes off hood and into windshield. Luckily the window didn't crack though there is a small gouge. However it left 3 nice reminders of its impact on my hood. It just clipped my clear bra too.

What are my chances of getting this taken care of without a complete repaint?

What are your suggestions for getting this fixed?

I live in SoCal.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Look slike you need a little touch up, wetsanding, then polishing! I posted a complete DIY in the detailing forum as did PICUS I believe.

if you're not comfortable doing wet sanding, you can take an old cotton
t-shirt, wrap it on a small block, apply ScratchX as your sander/polisher
and use that instead to flatten the touchup to the surrounding paint.

then polish as usual after.
