Cleaning willow floor mats

I've only had my G for about 6 weeks, but my floor mats are already dirty (not a big surprise, considering the amount of wet weather we've been having). The first day I had it, I went out and bought some clear plastic floor mats to throw over the stock ones to keep them dirty, but immediately could not stand the rubber smell, so out went that idea; LOL! Any recommendations on what to use to get them looking new again? I read somewhere someone mentioned using Resolve, but do you just spray it on and that's it, or do you need to rub it in, etc.? Maybe Woolight would work good too (?). Thanks.

For the most part, Resolve has worked for me. Just spray some on and use a toothbrush or towel to rub it a little. Maybe a carpet shampoo machine if you have one. After they are clean, use scotch guard (maybe a few coats). That helps them stay clean longer.

Dry clean them! No joke! that's what I used to do. Once a year. Then scotch guard them.

I just got some clear vinyl mats that fit the car, from ExactMats, these look great, they are the same shape and size as the factory mats, and show everything right through, smell a little like vinyl though.

Re: Cleaning willow floor mats

i bought a couple of cheapy towels and threw them down. take them out every so often and wash them, when i see how much crap gets soaked into the towels. i'm so glad it's not going into the mats

Resolve, deep-cleaning stuff. I sprayed mine down HARDCORE, let it sit for 10 minutes, soaked it up, and they were bright as new.
