Question Polish HKS Exhaust to Look Like New?

I have an HKS exhaust and would like to polish it so that it looks shiny, like when it was new. I have cleaned it and gotten to water spots off, but I'd like to make it shine like it was new again.

Is there a clear coat on the tips, or is is plain metal? I'd like to clean the rear tips and the mufflers in front of them.

I'd also like to make sure the blue around the exhaust tips doesn't come off too. I'm not exactly sure what the blue actually is, but I don't want to scratch or dull it.

ive heard the blue comes off if you use metal polish. just polish it to
about where the blue starts and then rub the rag away from the blue
and you should be able to blend.

Thanks for the info guys. What exactly is the blue stuff on the HKS tips, anyway? I guess it's supposed to look like flames or something, I dunno...

I found a link to Winol. Looks like they make several different kinds.

I have aircraft stuff I bought off Skygeek. I buy alot of their detailing supplies such as ReJex...

But Mothers with a powerball will work fine on the exhaust.. If you want.. you can take the tips off or pull them all the way out.. then polish it. I did it a few times when I had my HKS.

My Fuji shines like a mirror.. and reflect the ground when I polish it.. and it takes like 2 minutes with a powerball..
