Zaino ( which to buy?)
Re: Zaino ( which to buy?)
Dont' forget: not wax-on, wax-off circular motions. I believe its side-to-side on the top parts of the car (hood, trunk, roof) and up-down on the sides. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It enhances the way the the sun reflects off the car

Re: Zaino ( which to buy?)
tod071, you are right, they recommend to use front to back motion, on top hood and trunk of the car. And up and down motion on the sides.

All horizontal surfaces, front to back. Vertical surfaces, top to bottom. A-pillar and C-pillar, either, whichever is easier.

Re: Zaino ( which to buy?)
I've spoken to Sal Zaino & he says that the optics are the same for the Z-2 versus the Z-3. The Z-3 ( for non-cleared finishes ) just has a proprietary blend of ingredients designed to nourish the non-cleared paints helping to maintain the shine & durability longer ( much like the cleared finishes ). If U have the "wrong" one for your paint U can either exchange it ( if unopened ) or use it. Neither will harm your finish.
FWIW - Lexus doesn't clear-coat their darker paints ( black, red & green ) because they feel like a clear coat will dull some of the shine. Not sure if Nissan/Infiniti takes this viewpoint.
