You mean paint transfer from another car? That doesn't take an aggressive polish at all, its not really adhered to the paint, but rather just sitting on the surface, any product should be able to remove that

 

that paint might have been on the surface of the clear coat, which could have easily been removed by a cleaner wax w/ some elbow grease. .

The key like I said is regular application. First time on dry paint in removes surface contaminants. do it again in 2 weeks or a month while it still has a coat of wax on and it just removes the old coat for the new. Been using it on my other car which has 20 year old original paint and it still gleams like new

 

Well, from someone who has been waxing cars for a long time, back in the days before clearcoat, I would have said paste wax only, but in more recent years, I've found the liquid is as good if not better than paste ever was, much easier to apply and remove, and in my experience, it lasts just as long as any of the old paste waxes I ever used. And from my ages of experience on another note, the newer car finishes are so much more durable than the old stuff ever was, especially the metallic, the flakes in the metallic used to be exposed, and those flakes would oxidize fast, had to wax a metallic finish a lot more often before clearcoat, and I even mean the Infiniti paint everyone seems to complain about, I think it's great!
