You're right. Because I would want to flaunt it if I had it. LOL

But driving an Infiniti is meaningless to me, hahaha.

Mine looked like that too
luckily someone on the forum was helpful enough to go over it with a porter cable and it was gone after a few days

You could always just get the 350GT to cover it up

Polish will work. Not sure about Scratch X or the stuff you get off the shelf at your local Autpo Zone or Pep Boys... Any good bodyshop will have a polish that will easily take care of that though.

I fully debadged my G today. Heated it up with a blow dryer and used fishing line. Used goo gone for the sticky tape (most time consuming part). There was a dark shadow that i was able to fully remove with some Maguires quick detailer. For the Mt Fuji it left a thin outline which came off with some claybar. Then i used scratch x on the whole face of the trunk and waxed. It was an 05 IP with original badges. Looks clean with no trace of badges.

Just buff it out like George (Detailed Image) said. Usually these things come off easy (like on mine), but I guess it depends on the climate you live in sometimes, or the conditions the adhesive under the emblems was exposed to (really hot weather, direct sun = baked on, etc). Try scratch-x or any kind of scratch remover or even rubbing compound. However, if you use something as abrasive as rubbing comp. you will most likely need a proper polish/glaze after that since it might haze your paint. If your color is grey/silver metallic it's not a big deal. If it's black, be prepared for endless pain.

The reason why most people debadge is to make it much easyier to wax, also it is for personal taste. It looks much cleaner, not necassarily classier, but cleaner.

Is there an easyier way to debadge the fron of the second gen sedan, it doesn't look like it just pulls out?

Ultimate detailer gets it right off. That's what I used when I debadged the "g35."

The grill emblem?

It's clipped in (from the back)
It removes easily but you end up with a hole which requires some custom work to fix.
