Wash, clay bar then stop?

Wash, clay bar then stop?

i started detailing my car today even tho it was cloudy after i finished the clay bar and i washed the car again it started to rain so i stopped before polish and wax is that okay?

You probably added more contaminants to your paint that the clay removed... I think you have to do it all over again

Why would you say that?
You'll be fine if you didn't drive it around in the rain, just wipe it down again with a quick detailer before polishing and waxing

I hate it when that happens. Always check the weather before you wash your car! I also like to make sure there is a bit of sunshine after the wash just so I can at least cruise around it in a few days and enjoy the shine.
