Tree pollen is killing me! I did notice that Z6 (Zaino) helps it not stick as much (just as they claim). I put some on and the pollen would dust off rather than stay semi-smeared on as without Zaino. Should be worth a shot (it also makes your ride reaaaaaaaaal shiny!).

When you wax, depending on the product, it will sometimes cause dirt to stick to the paint more. Carnuaba waxes contain oils to enhance gloss, depth and shine, and these oil attract dust, especially when there is static charge from wiping back and forth with a MF towel.

Look into buying a Anti-Static Detailer such as FK1 #425 or Optimums New Instant Detailer that has shown to repel dust quite well.

It won't stop dust from settling on the surface, but it'll make it harder for it to stick to vertical panels and such.

i use all stuff from production car care they make the best stuff ever you should really think about ordering from them. the Midnight wax and Liquid Beauty are easy to use by hand and have no carnuba in them. As for carnuba One Grand make a really nice past wax that makes ur car amazing and is easy to work with. Dont even bother buying stuff in the store

Blitz One Grand is really easy to use and will not stain your rubber and vinyl. It is a good product that is often overlooked. Where are you guys picking up your Optimums and Sonus stuff from?

this happens to me as well. i'm 90% sure a lot of it has to do with the aerodynamics of the car - that abrupt drop off at the back of the probably causes a vacuum right behind the trunk & bumper which just sucks up dust

I have the same problem. I noticed it's worst right after applying sealant (I used Menzerna FMJ). Probably the composition of the sealant and the static from the MF towel.

I used to use a California car duster on my old car, but I think it was contributed to scratches in the clear coat. I'm trying to stay away from the duster, but now my car looks dusty only a day or two after wash. With the car duster, I could keep it looking fresh for a week. I guess that's the trade off.

I've heard tons of great things about FK425...I've never used any Finish Kare products though. I might have to buy a bottle and give it a go as well.
