wow.. that sucks... you could try removing the cluster and polishing/cleaning the lens.

i think you'd have to buy another cluster and swap lenses with it.

certain glass cleaners will do that to the plastic cover. Apply some wax (the same kind you wax the car with) to it and rub it in, don't wipe it off. It may take a few applications over the course of a few days but it will look much much better and you will actually be able to see your gauges again. Good luck!

Bro i just picked up my car and it has the same exact problem (not as bad) but its got the same spots and haze that your cluster has from what seems to be a cleaner. I tried to clean that ish with everything... from heavily diluted Poorboy's APC, to using some Ice liquid clay bar (its what i use on my headlights and works well), and even went as far as to grab a little 3M Micropolishing compound to knock it out and i had little luck removing it to a level of happiness for myself. I can see my gauges but when looked at with a close eye you will notice the splotched and imperfection from the previous cleaner that was used. Im on the hunt for a new piece myself and id advise you do the same thing as its not an easy piece to repair and might be more cost effective to save the time and get a new piece. Ill keep you in formed if i have any luck with finding one in hopes that you will do the same for me if you do also.

Good luck.

I have a line just going all the way across my cluster just like that bluriness. It pisses me off. It happened when the dealer was prepping the car for me to pick up when I bought it.

Mine looks like that, it looks like dried armor all to me.

This usually happens when you spray protectants such as armor all or formula 2001 and it sits on there as little as 30 mins. Try to use this stuff I use made my Meguairs called plastx clear plastic cleaner and wax.

you can find plastx in stores. the cheapest place to buy it for me in so cal is walmart. as for the professional products its a hit or miss depending on your local kragen or autozone. you can hope on meguiars.com and locate a store near you that sells the professional line though.

Yeah it happen when I use a dilute apc on my interior. I had to buff the heck out of the plastic with a terry cloth and plastic polish (Meguiars plastix). It got it out and good. Next I'll be more cautious when cleaning next to that area.
