I need to let my dealer know what % tint I want on my B. Silver G I'm picking up Friday...... I'm not sure if the light color of the ext. will make the tint look darker, and I know the Graphite Int. will make the tint appear darker.... Any suggestions on what looks nice?

BTW, I'm in Houston and it the heat reduction will help quite a bit.... but I don't want to have trouble seeing at night, etc. like I did when I got limo tint on my previous car ;-/ I just want it to look classy..... Any pics anyone could post of their tint job would be great! Thanks!

Whats the state allow for the max percentage? I know here in Ohio, people get pulled over like mad for excessive tint.

mine is 20%....15-25% will be kind of similar to mine...IMO 35% is way too light

I have a brilliant silver G coupe and I have 35% all the way around because that's the darkest we can go here in north carolina by law. I like the look of 35% at night...sometimes during the day it looks too light though. Just depends on what you can get away with in your state.

 

Thanks for all of your suggestions ;-) I decided to go with 20%... which is the max allowed in Texas. I went to the dealership and checked out a couple of cars with different tints and I liked that one the best ;-) I can't wait... only 1 more day!

Mine is 35% Llumar Platinum Plus. You can see very well at night. The Platinum Plus has been tested to reduce your interior temperature up to a 52% cooler than without tinted windows.
