I have tried several, most of them work. However, I had to use my power buffer to get them to really make a noticeable difference.

Do you recommend a specific pad for this combo? I've tried plastx with the buffer and didn't see better results then doing it by hand.

i used a 4" yellow cutting pad (w/ Diamondite Clear Plastic Enhancer), followed by a 4" orange cutting pad (w/ Diamondite Clear Plastic Restorer) with my 7424. haze is gone, looks new.

you don't have to do all those steps though, i've read people just using a orange cutting pad w/Mezerna Super Intensive Polish and works just as well.

+1 on this^^

me personally i used the orange cutting pad and plast x
you have to do it more than once to see better results coz the haze is a PAIN to remove. wash the headlights first before buffing. if you like you can use warm water to hopefully soften the stuff a bit

I have seen some of this stuff, it sprays on and "self levels" and fills in the uneven places. BULL SH*T! I saw a car was that was "Fixing Ugly Headlights" and it looks like crap. It works in that it transfered more light but it was ugly.

Compound it with the PC using a medium pad and heavier cutting polish moving to lighter pad and polish.

Without a PC use plastix or equivalent.
