soo there are slight indications of rust in the following areas...what do you guys suggest? is there a company that i can take the car to get sprayed or should i do it myself? also would factory warranty cover it? the car was originaly from Boston and I now have it in Oklahoma..

Rust Areas:
-shock towers visibly in engine bay and on the sides
-strut bar underneath in the rear
-frame braces on both sides in the rear
and pretty much spots of rust on anything that wasnt painted or is just bare metal from factory..

if someone has a undercarriage picture, i can be more specific

 

i live in nc and my car came from chicago... i have some rust too, i dont think it will be covered by warranty because as far as I know it is preventative. I hope I can proved wrong.

I'm pretty sure the 7 year rust coverage only applies if it has perforated through the body.

 

ah so it wont cover chasis parts with surface rust? well then what should i do about it?

 

i would also like to know?
