What is the best simple wax to use on my G? I am not looking for the special stuff that you have to put some the the 1st bottle on then put something else on. Just a simple wax to put on and buff off what is the best that other G owners are using.

Since you have a DP coupe, I would reccomend Mother's California Gold Pure Carnuba, liquid. The liquid is easy to apply and buff off. No second product required. The shine is nice and deep. Just keep in mind that you need to wax about every 3 months on a light car when using carnuba.

 

Or Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. It's not carnauba, it's a polymer wax. It's a liquid, wipe on, let dry, wipe off. It lasts about 6 months. You can pick up the stuff at Walmart or any auto supply store. It's plenty shiny in my eyes. I don't like to spend a lot of time waxing, and I wasn't going for a showroom shine.. I just wanted something to bead the water off and keep the bug/bird gunk from eating the paint before I got a chance to wash it off.

I also picked up a bottle of Meguiar's Quik Detailer -- useful for getting the bird gunk off if you're not in a position to wash the car soon. Spray-n-Wipe.

Yep... Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. Cleans the paint surface and protects with a nice shine. Been using it for ten years now. Never disappointed.

I also picked up a bottle of Meguiar's Gold Class Wax as well. It didn't look different to my eye, but I did feel a little more secure thinking that it provided another layer of protection. All psychological....

use zimol it works good and has vitamin E in it for something,I dont know what it does but the wax is good and easy to take off.

Maybe the Vitamin E helps the paint scratches heal without scarring.

Zymol is a good wax but the blue stuff at Target is sub standard. Use the paste wax called Zymol Japon. It works wonders. If you want the real deal get Klasse All in One.

I've seen posts that if you have a clearbra, not to use Zymol. The blue color can transfer onto the edges of the bra.

Take a baby tooth brush(supersoft) and wait about 6 hours-at that point all the wax is dry and outline your clear bra with the toothbrush. Remember that all waxes leave behind a residue-blue or white or gray or tan
