Question how do I keep this stuff away???

alright, winter is on its way in and its getting pretty foggy outside.... every night and morning i have all this moisture from the fog all over the damn car. I dont mind the windows but the car gets too dirty after 1 day.... Is there anything I can apply on the paint after a wash so this wont happen???

If it helps, I use meguiars nxt soap (the one with the G on the label)
if theres enough shade I throw a coat or two of ultimate quik detailer

Use a clean car cover or store car inside garage. Other than that i dont think you can change nature.

car covers scratch every time you put it on and take it off unless it's made of something extremely delicate, is clean, and your car is clean. i would just let the condensation sit on your car and do a regular wash before it gets too dirty. ONR would be great for you

I agree with SpecC, I don't think there is much you can do, and ONR would be a great solution. That way you could easily wash it once or twice a week to keep it clean. Keeping a good layer of sealant/wax on your car will help make it easier to clean though, especially from the environment when you park it outside. The QD is just making it shiny when its clean, not really protecting it.

Why don't you just quick detail the car in the morning to remove the condensation. Shouldn't take more than 5 mins, and if it is just dust on the surface it shouldn't be too bad

the problem with constantly QDing it is that if there is more than a day's worth of dirt on there, it'll scratch the paint as you're wiping

He said his problem is condensation on the car, not dirt, which is a different issue. He seems to want the car to magically just stay clean all the time without doing any work.

Park your car in the garage during winter and don't drive it

+1 for keeping the car waxed and/or sealed will make it stay cleaner longer.

There's going to be dirt on it anyway when he's QDing which is where all the swirls will come from.

I have the same problem. All I do is get a waffleweave towel and blot dry the areas with the most condensation. it definitely helps a lot. If I don't do this, then when I start using the car, the moist drips down and leaves marks. When I go back to my car later after I have blot dried it with a wv, all that is left is the dust. Try it out.
