Paint Squeegees

I have always wondered if these are a good idea, they guarantee that as long as your car is clean it won't scratch your paint.

I know the ease of use with a squeegee on windows but is it bad for your cars paint? It would make a car wash so much easier but if it's harmful to the car I'd rather just put in the work

What do you guys think? Anybody use one?

Yea I have my washing down pat haha, just looking for a better alternative for drying instead of patting it down with a towel. I have considered the leaf blower idea but I'd need to buy a new one since mine is pretty old and about 5 feet long haha.

leather cloths are the best i hear. Ive been using the absorber its similar but made out of man made materials, it cuts drying time in half.

i own the absorber, an oridinary leather cham, and the microfiber waffle towel and that latter is by far the best absorbing and softest/safest on the paint. the absorbers do work well but for the same price, you can pickup a good MF waffle weave

I use two mircofiber towels. Too much risk involved with using blade. If you miss anything, it will get caught in the blade and well, you get the picture.

I use a squeegee. Im thorough with my cleaning and always wipe the end of the squeegee with my shirt multiple times to make sure nothing is on it.

I use the Calf waterblade to quickly knock off the water drops and then do a final wipe with a MF waffle weave. I only use it on the horrizontal surfaces like hood, roof and trunk. I only use the MF on the sides. I don't notice any difference in the condition of the paint, after while micro scratches will appear no matter what you do and it's seems consistant across the car so I don't think it does any damage.

Make sure you use the flooding method and there will be no point to use a squeegee, just a MF towel for those extra drops.

If there is a spec of dirt, it will leave a DEEP scratch. That's why I don't use them.
