One round trip from Sac to LA and I got stone chips up the wazoo...

Granted it's been like 2 months since I last washed my car but I gave my 07 DG Coupe a morning wash today and I was heartbroken at what I saw on the front bumper...

Last time I washed it, there was not a single stone chip on this thing... I did a 400 mile round trip a few months ago and now I see this. I know there isn't much I can do other than repaint or get a new bumper (paint that too) but damn... I've only had this baby since September

Just thought I'd vent. My front bumper looks like it's riddled with white paint specs.

Never driving down to LA again

Blue painters tape would have saved your paint.

Probably a stupid question but...

What about one of those leather car bras? Is it easy enough to put on/take off? Figure if I ever have to do this again, I can just keep the bra on the trunk and take on/off as needed.

really taking some time with fresh touch up paint and a really fine paint brush or toothpick would be well worth it! you could make 90% of that disappear from several feet away

I would repaint it and then clear bra it. It wouldn't be cheap, but it would be a permanent fix to that problem. You would never have to worry about that happening again, ever!!
