Pressure washer?

Just a follow up. I'm pretty happy with the job that the washer does. I got a small 2000 psi Craftsman gas model. It's worth the money just for how easy it makes cleaning the rims. It gets into crevices nicely as well.
I use it to wet the car and carefully blow off that initial layer of dirt then I go conventional with the wash mitts. Then back to the pressure washer for the rinse.
It also is amazing how clean it can get your driveway. Oil and radiator stains are a thing of the past. Well worth the $200 in my opinion.

I would be cautious of using a pressure washer on your rims especially if they are polished. Most polished rims have a "coating" on them and over time can start to pull away. I had a friend of mine that used a pressure washer to clean his rims of brake dust and ended up replacing his rims after 4 yrs or so because this film started to break loose. Not sure if G wheels have the same, but I wouldn't do it! Can never go wrong with Soap and Water!!!

this is a little too much for some people.. but when you're doing oil changes, brake job, or any reason for the car to be jacked up.. you can take off your wheel and clean the rims and calipars.. friend has a BMW and we'll clean those son of a bitches (rims) with just plain soap + water with towel.. takes about the same amount of time as it would if you were to detail one of those things... plus you have a nice shine inside when the light gets into it =)
just a little something i thought i'd share... careful not to scratch it when you have it rolling around..
