my bumper and hood need to be repainted. also want to have a urethane bumper lip painted and installed. anyone know of a shop in so cal that does a good job for a reasonable price?

What color is your car? i'm in the same freaking position as you are. My car is an 04, less than an year old, with only 20k miles...but with all the road chips and paint chips on the hood and bumber and shides; you'd think it was 3 years old. It's ridiculous.

I want to repaint also, but was told that it is not recommended.

 

why did someone tell you not to repaint?

Hey guys, I'm in need of getting a clear bra put on too. I've been waiting for Premier Mobile to come down to do my Coupe. Maybe we can get together a few more cars and get a Group Buy going.

Hi Patrick, I'm in the OC. Where are you located? The good thing about my Coupe is that it hasn't gotten a lot of chips yet. I've noticed two right below the headlights, but that's about it.

I had a friend who had a clear bra installed 1.5 years after he got it. He brought it to a body shop and had them repaint it before putting on the bra. From what I can see, there's no problem with it.
