I just got my tint done on my g. Everything seemed fine except this part on the dot matrix. How did everyone else's turn out on their job? Should I have my rear redone or am I just making too much of it? Btw, it's llumar 35% all around. It kinda looks like a gun. Thanks for your opinions.

 

That doesn't look too good. I would bring it back to the shop and have them take a look at it and I wouldn't be surprised if they fixed it for free either. If the shop knows what they're doing, the dot matrix can come out pretty well.

 

Do you think the spot will get better or worse with time?

 

What do you mean by dot matrix? Are you talking about the air bubbles? Sorry but I dunno the lingo.

 

It's that top area at the top of the rear windshield. It's covered by dots and is hard to place tint on.

 

Picture isn't the best, is there a better angle?

 

I tried different angles but this seemed to be the clearest. The spot is alot more obvious in person than in the picture. You would be able to see the spot clearly in the day time. It is located in the center of the picture, just to the right a bit. It looks like the number 7 but reversed.

 

Ah I see it! Wow, hehe, I thought it was a reflection, I actually have something like that.. .not to that extent tho, much thinner, and moreso just like a vertical line... it's annoying.

Take it back and them redo it--they will probably give you an excuse saying that's how it turns out cuz of the dot matrix, but tell them NO PUNK! REDO!
