Yeah, I shoot the bird poop with plenty of detail spray and dab off the poop. Then I spray some more and wipe it clean.

When I say I reuse the towel, I don't mean I re-use the same spot on the towel. I only use "clean" sections of the microfiber. To wash the towel, I toss it in the machine in warm with regular detergent. When you dry it, make sure you DO NOT use any dryer sheets. Also do not use any type of fabric softener. The softeners and dryer sheets work by bonding to the fibers. It feels nice and soft, but the coating is harder than your paint, and will cause scratches. At least that's what it said in the washing instructions of my microfiber towels.
