Soap and water, then use something like WheelWax to protect. I am weary of using any chemical cleaner, heard too many horror stories. And of course, good old-fashioned elbow grease.

Safest bet is soap and water!!! I would never use any cleaners! If you maintain with soap n water and seal with a good synthetic wax, they will look new for years! Your best bet is to find out what IFORGE recos.

The only cleaner I ever trusted with my wheels was the wheel shampoo from detailing dynamics as it is ph balanced and almsot safe enough to drink! I use it every so often when the wheels are really dirty and primarily for the inner hoops where is tougher to reach

P21S Wheel Gel is safe on all wheels and is a great wheel cleaner. It doesn't use harsh acidic cleaners, instead its ph balanced to be safe for all wheels. I keep a special microfiber mitt just for my wheels that I keep clean. To protect your wheels I highly recommend applying the Wheel Wax or Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. Brake dust comes off the pads at scorching hot temperatures so its important to protect your wheel from the sizziling hot brake dust that can etch into the wheel. Both products resist high temperature brake dust and other forms of road grime. This keeps the wheels looking better for longer and also reduces the time you spend cleaning the wheels.

I use soap and water on my Fikses and then follow it up with wheel sealant. It is my opinion that the wheel sealant slightly dulls the shine on the uncoated wheels. however, it is worth it most days to me.

Overkill. They are basically competing products. I have only used the wheel sealant myself. Both are just high temp sealants/waxes that will not break down as readily at the high temps that a wheel experiences.

Thanks Scott. I was just curious since I read a few people say the sealent causes some "dulling"
