I mesed up on Zaino

Hello
I picked a wroge day to apply Zaino 2mor is my flight and i was applying Zaino today..lol
This was my first time so i'm pretty sure i messed it up. I poured 1 once of Z2 and 4 drops of ZFX, i was shaking it for 90 Sec and then i applyed it to the car. btw i washed the car with Sunlight instead of Dawn (my mom had sunlight in the Dawn bottle) I guess they all do the same thing, so i'm not worried. I didnt know if i was applying it too little or too much, some places i couldnt even see and some places there's just too much as i could tell. I know I also missed few body parts such as the lower end of the car, and i didnt apply Z2 on the roof i guess thats a mistake since i removed the old wax from there aswell.
I'm going to reapply wax first thing 2mor morning in the garage since its raining outside. How do i know if i'm applying too little on the paint? Its been 4 hours now and Z2 havent dryed yet..damn i wanna take it off and reapply the damn thing before i take off for few weeks...

Ur thoughts Asap since i wont be here much longer..lol
Thanks,
Manbir

Edit: After i reapply the 2th coat of Z2, should i apply Z6 and Z8 after it drys up?

4 hours and the wax isn't dried yet! Man, hopefully none of that stuff will be caked on in the morning.

I would seriously re - wash it and start over so you have consistency on all your panels. I am not a Zaino person (I am a Pinnacle, Natty's, Meguiar's fan), but when I apply wax, I just do 1 swirl on my pad, dab random parts of the panel, and apply. I would then buff after I applied a whole side of the car.

Plus, not all dishwashing liquids are the same. You have to watch out because you don't want any with fragance additivties, citrus acids, etc. That is why I only use plain Dawn ( blue - green color ). You will know if you have completely removed the wax when after you wash your car with Dawn and you rub it with your finger, you can hear the rub.

Manbir,

I would rewash the car with Dawn( not Sunlight soap) this morning, leave it in the garage until you get back from vacation and don't worry about your car. It will be fine . You can go at it when you get back.
Enjoy your trip.
Check out www.Zaino.ca when you return.

B.

Thanks for ur replys, i was waiting for someone to reply to my thread but i guess no one seen the thread before. Anyways at 4am the Z2 finnaly dried up!!!! i been playing counter strike while i was waiting 6 hours. I reapplyed Z2 and this time i didnt rush it. I covered all the body pannels etc, and went to sleep at around 5am. I woke up around 10 am and the Z2 was dried, i guess the first time i applied i had too much on. I took it off and Wow the shine is amazing!! it has that wet look which is just too sexy..ahha
i just finished applying Z6 and going to apply Z8. Afterwards i'm going to get ready for my flight. The reason i didnt want to sleep was because my flight is 16 hours, and now i can have a nice nap in the flight.
Right now i'm dead tired, taking Z2 off is pain in the ****. but all that hard work really did pay off because i'm soo happy with the results. I just wish i had more time to work on the car, but damn i have to leave.

just one more question, hopefully somoene will reply back before my flight.hehe
I have the Z16, the tire Polish. Should i apply and leave it to dry and then remove it like i did with Z2?
THanks,

Manbir
