Re: rain-x

I use it religiously and never need my wipers. I'm thinking about removing them.

Re: rain-x

LOL, silly Russ, you still need wipers
I use manual intermitance, probably once every 10 seconds or so, or whenever a car is infront of me splashing fine droplets

Re: rain-x

Well just another emphatic recomendation for rain-x. I have used it on all of my cars. and have applied it to some of my friends cars. They were truly amazed at how well it. works. another side note, it also works killer on my clear glass shower door in the bathroom.

A while back I was getting the window replaced on my SHO and asked the tech what he thought of the stuff. He said he would never use it and didn't like it. I asked him why and he said that he just didn't like it and didn't go into any details.

I have used Fog-X with dissapointing results. My recomendation is to skip it.

Re: rain-x

You must have had the same guy I had replacing the windshield on my SHO. I said "I've got to get some RainX on there, it's supposed to rain tomorrow..." just trying to make conversation. He just said "I don't like that stuff." I asked why, he said "Just cuz". Okay then... I haven't seen any bad side-effects. I think he just wanted to throw in his "I'm a pro, listen to me cuz I just HAVE to have an opinion on this" $.02.

Re: rain-x

Wynns Rain-away seems to stay longer than rainx IMO but both are great.
