i fvcked up while i was waxing my black car... there are white lines that u can see in the sunlight. I used the NXT meguairs wax.

wash it with dawn dish soap to remove the wax then start over. I've used NXT on my car for the past 9 months and never had a problem with it.

Dish soap should be good enough to remove it.

How did you apply it?

dish washer soap should take the wax off. dont do a circle motion. just slide the applicator at an angle so you can get the wax in the area you want. never tried turtle wax but i heard its not as good as nxt.

likely if you are seeing white still, its not in the application, but the removal of product. It never hurts to apply too much product, it just means more wasted wax, and a harder time of removal, but it will still leave a uniform layer of wax. You say nothing about what method you are using to remove the wax, which is likely your probleem. I recommend purchasing a few decent microfiber towels to remove, and you shouldn't have any streaking left.
