Help with a part...

I own a g35 03.. and bought it used had a problem so the engine blew. So i got the engine replaced but the part that blew it is still there which is the Fuel Calibrating Chip. The tech said they dont have the stock setting so they cant do it. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to like program it or something... btw i live in richardson.

Thanks..

Fuel calibrating chip? Is your car modified in any way?

I'm guessing the ECU was mapped differently before you purchased it, probably by the previous owner (and after looking at your post history).

(Just a guess, don't go trying to find a new ECU quite yet)

How do you know the "Fuel Calibrating Chip" is even installed? And what dealer did you take it to? If it had a Unichip reflash or something, it might have had a Turbonetics kit on it or something.

Well, when i blew the engine i took it to crest infiniti and they said they found it in there. Also said it was installed by Grubbs, back in like 2004ish and has been in there replacing the EUC. The stock setting are not there and stuff is what they said, preventing them from program it back to stock. Another thing is its been in there since i bought it last year, i had no clue i even had it until it ended up in the shop.

If you want to go back to stock, why not find an stock ECU to install in there?
