Alignment shop....

Need to know an alignment shop that:

1) works on lowered cars (has low clearance ramps)

2) understands the adjustable camber/toe kit

Where do you guys go?

Firestone in Plano off Park/Ohio is where I've taken my car as well as Kwik Kar off Midway/Park.

They are just a little more expensive than the rest of the other shops, but they do the best job and can guarantee it. these guys are the best in Dallas period!

I'd go with Moog's recommendation...Went to Dallas Fram and took an Acura TL that was running pretty straight for an alignment only to leave with a car that heavily pulled to side after $250 alignment. They so called did some suspension work on the rear so that the tires would be straighter...wtf..so now it's supposed to go sideways???? Sorry kids, but bad experience with them.

Just to add my 2 cents to this...

The alignment tech, Daniel, at the Firestone at Coit and Legacy has been aligning my cars since 2001. He is REALLY good.

Today I took in the Evo for a race alignment and he worked with me to get the proper setup and was able to get the rear where I wanted -- when the dealer couldn't! Heck, he even listened to me when I told him I wanted to be in the car to make sure the alignment didn't change with my weight (it did and he fixed it ).

I called on the way over there and they had me in and out in under an hour -- on a Friday morning when they were short handed! Now there have been times when it was going to take a while, so that's a bit out of the ordinary, but it was a great experience.
