I dont understand people...

So tonight I was out in my garage working on my car. We live in an apartment and we lease a 1 car garage as well.

Well I had to move Hals car out of the way so I could work on my car. So her car was across the parking lot from the garage, which was highly visible to me.

I finished all up and was in my car getting ready to pull it back in the garage. And I look over at her car and there was a black guy and his girlfriend by her car. He then procedes to lean on the rear quarter panel of her car. So I shout over to him (not rude at all) and said could you please not lean on my car. What does he do?? He starts talking $hit to me and said why dont you get out of your car and tell me to do that...

So I park my car and go over to her car, he was not leaning on it anymore but was still talking $hit. I told him "all you had to do was say sorry and have respect for other peoples property" He was still talking all kinds of $hit to me. I just ignored it and moved her car.

So we go down there a little while after that and move her car in the garage and my car is in the front of the complex now because I am afraid of what this dude might do to either of our cars..

I just don't understand why people have to be so rude and have to always try to pick a fight.. You did something wrong, apologize for it and move on. I am so sick and fu**ing tired of people right now I could scream. I can not wait to get a house and get away from stupid bs apartment living.

Dude was just ignorant and had to puff up his chest to not look like a bitch in front of his girl. Should have made extreme eye contact and made him look away first with a totally blank look on your face like you could care less about him.

Sometimes I think it's a way to cover up embarrassment. Kinda like a defense mechanism. When you do something blatant like that and get called out, you try and cover up your stupidity by acting like a hardass.

I just don't understand that mentality..

It really makes me want to get a concealed handgun license. Who knows if his $hit talking was for real and he would have actually done something.

It seems like there are more and more shady people moving into this complex. Its a shame that we are in Los Colinas. It appears to me that South Irving is starting to move North a little.

some people are such ****** now a days. that guy probably didn't want to look like a pu$$y in front of his girl. he knew he did something wrong and should have just apologized for it like a real man. but you did the right thing by ignoring him.

I think you have every right to be mad but you handled it well. Escalating wouldn't have helped anyone. Sometimes you have to rise above it all.

I ABSOLUTELY know what you are talking about...

My apartment over the past few years has been going south and the people they are leasing to are getting worse and worse. I've lived in Las colinas for 8 years and it seems the apt complexes in the area are having these south irving folks move in. My apt pool used to be awesome 2 years ago...now its little kids trashing the pool furniture and ghetto women in swimsuits that are WAY too small for them to be wearing...

Anyway, you did the right thing and just ignored him. He was covering his own embarrassed a$$ in front of the lady.

Never a good idea to brandish your weapon as an idle threat. If you pull out your weapon, you should be using it to protect your life...not shut someone up.

^+111111111 for the proper use of your firearm. Unless your life or someone else's life is in danger, there's no need to start flashing weapons for minor confrontations...unless it escalates into a life-threatening situation.

I seriously want to go handgun shopping soon, its about time i own one, especially after my garage break-in incidents a while ago.
