Gonna try a few things before taking them off. I already knew the forum consensus of these when I bought them. But I'm wanting to go for a "bolted on" look.
I got them from Strafe. The fitment was 3/10. Every bodyshop in town said they would nt touch them- even the shop I'd used for 10 years with all my cars. Disappointed and will never order from again.
Another reason I will leave them on for awhile. Whenever someone asks or comments why they fit so bad (not look so bad- that's Veilsides fault). I can tell them do not buy from Strafe.

so you can not recommend people our way thats fine. you were more than aware these pieces needed work & were no where near perfect fit out of the box.

Those posted fit way better - whether they look bad or not as a styling product.
Note that mine are not flush against the body, but stick off about 1/4'' inch. Also note the gaps on the ends where the bottom does not fit up against the bottom of the side skirt. This wasn't a simple issue of "pushing the add-on's up" against the side skirt so it didn't hang. If you did that the upper corner would slide down. I never could really figure out why they were doing this other than somehow being warped. It was like a table with one short leg: If you put weight on one side, the other is messed up, if you push it to put weight on the other leg, the original side would be off again.... if that makes any sense.
At any rate... I know they don't look that great. I was prepared for that. I'm going to work with them a bit and see what happens. I have another idea for the sides, but I'm going to continue working on other things in the mean time.
Here is the car with a 10mm spacer, -4.0 camber, 275's. I think I can pull off a 20mm spacer, -4.0 camber and 245's (plus more dropsies). Not minding more camber either.

I've never expected anything descent out of replicas. My hopes were not high. When the lip came folded in half and the sides were so far off... it was all what I expected of such.
I'm not blaming anyone. Simply stating if someone asks where I got them, I'll just tell them. They can draw whatever conclusion they want from that. I'm not going to start a pissing contest.
My authentic GReddy and Kenstyle was spot on 9/10 - 9.5 if I get daring. And you're right, those did fit better than OEM. My original bumper never even has matched the rest of the car - evident by the pics. At this point all of these things are pretty trivial. 2004 model and I just turned 33,000 miles. I plan on driving the car now, so dents, mismatched paint, poor fitting parts are all part of the game because it's all going to get more screwed up from daily use.

so, i finally decided to take a look at my bumper and see why it wasn't lining up with the stock panels. Every since i installed my 06 projectors its been like this. No matter what I do it still wont line up properly. It was perfect fitment before 10/10.
the other side is perfect.
ALSO, my sidemarkers keep popping out for some reason, they never "click" in. This problem just started a couple of days ago. I can get it to stay in kinda of but, I never notice them "click" into place.
