Seat switch paranoia

Spilled some drink on the seat switch, has anyone seen the inside of one? Is there some sort of diaphragm between the switch and the button to keep liquid out? I tried my best to get out what I could with a folded napkin.

Anyone experienced issues after spillage? If so any preventative measures short of dismantling the switch?

Now that the "helpful" tips have been shared, is there some one who knows?

why not just pop the switch out and clean it. depending on what you spilled, its probably going to get sticky and gunked up now.

I wasnt sure how much would be involved with that, I gave the switch a quick once over didnt see any immedietly available screws or clips, judging from the answers post -"NO" picture post, im thinking im going to have to.

pop off the center console shifter trim and the switches are accessed from under that.

gotcha. im sorry i assumed you meant seat heater switch. thats where my drinks usually wind up. the seat switches are a bit more work, you have to remove the seat from the floor. its 4, 14mm bolts and then you can unscrew the seat switches
