First Time at the Track w/My 05 5AT Coupe

First off, the Mods are:

8 Wire Grounding Kit
Stillen CAI into K&N Short Ram
Crawford V5 Upper Plenum
ME MREV+ lower plenum with Copper Gaskets
Stillen Cat Back
Nitto Drag Radials on 16" Rage Racing Rims
Brake Torque Switch
URUD Crank Pulley
Altered Atmosphere Reflash ECU Tune

2nd off...my bone stock 03.5 Sedan ran a 14.21 on just winter 16'' rims...so there is a massive money pit involved with getting an auto G to improve...and it's really not worth it...but hey...we all do it.

So, I ran 4 times and ran 14.24 to 14.4 from 100.22 to 100.82. The 100.82 is a personal best out of both my Gs...but the ET is less than my Sedan did stock...course my sedan was doing it in 60-70 F temps and with 16s all around, but not even cracking 98 mph.

So, this Coupe of mine, b/f the Pulley, dynoed 250 RWHP which is a lot more than my sedan...so there is the increased MPH Trap Speed, but it was 84F degrees out, I am on 19" front rims, and my car only has 6400 Miles on it vs. the 10K plus my Sedan had when it ran what it ran...which was eventually a 14.00 at 100.7...

So, I am very encouraged that my pathetic 2.24 to 2.34 60' times will improve with experience launching this car and with more miles on the VQ and temps in the 50s come this fall...hopefully 13s are in the cars...but either way they're damn close. If it was not for the below 3300 RPM BOG Infiniti builds into its Autos this car would run 13.8s all night long.

Time to update my sig now.

Same as you...A dynojet...IMHO...the only dyno to use for consistancy and close to real world conditions.

Nice runs as usual. That trap is really nice too. I hope to get back to the track this Fall after temps cool a bit to test my MD spacer. I'm hoping for 14.1-14.2s@99mph.

Thanks Dave. I am going to have the car dynoed again to see if the extra mileage & the URUD Crank Pulley helped out at all. Then I am going to rip out the Crawford and go back to the stock and see what that does...b/c I feel I am leaving torque on the table...at least usable 1/4 mile torque.

I also noticed, and this was really weird, that with the oem 19'' sport rims up front and the same 16'' drag radials out back...and a reflash of the ECU...but this time via AAM vs. the last time w/TS...that I was barely able to hold 3rd crossing the quarter b/f a complete fuel shut off/rev limiter...so I either have to upshift as I go through the traps or let right off the gas after I do. W/the TS reflash that was never an issue...

Oh, and check out my Catchin oil update...in that thread.
